英国布莱克本的77岁老人伯纳德?麦克修核对彩票时发现自己中了11月12日开出欧洲百万彩票大奖，奖金高达100万英镑。不过他没有以打电话确认的方式领取奖金，而是在中奖彩票后面写上了他的名字和住址，然后将彩票放在信封里，让他的妹妹帮忙邮递到英国国家彩票运营商卡梅洛特公司。9 f9 z; ?. }9 E; W& h. {' D! M N

后来，他和家人说明彩票中奖情况时，家人非常惊讶。伯纳德说：“我看到彩票后面有地址，而且写着大奖得主可以联系他们，因此我就把彩票邮递过去了。家人开始还不相信我中了大奖，他们问我彩票在哪？我说邮递走了。不过我并不担心，彩票迟早会寄到的。”

卡梅洛特公司的发言人表示，公司会密切留意伯纳德寄到公司的中奖彩票。如果彩票丢失，伯纳德仍然有可能领取奖金，卡梅洛特公司会支付给丢失彩票的得主相应的奖金，条件是开奖后180天内奖金无人领取。不过发言人还补充说丢失彩票的玩家要尽可能提供有关信息，包括购彩地点、购买时间等等，这样公司可以通过系统等进行进一步的调查核对工作。 |
