不仅在奥运赛场上有过不错的成绩，他还参加了1985年、1993年、1995年和2004年的和四节帆船锦标赛，4次全部拿到冠军。

, W, ~' R l% A6 I6 E6 j# r- P 可命运对于兰赫而言，不仅仅简单的将帆船带到了他的生命当中，它还为这段旅途蒙上了一层灰色面纱。

2015年，在训练中一直倍感疲劳的兰赫突然被查出肺部癌细胞病变，幸亏发现及时，他在西班牙巴塞罗那市的一家医院接受了左肺切除手术。1 ~8 k |1 a& S$ b. W, q, `

8 p- q# G/ A, L 在六个月的治疗过程当中，兰赫一直保持着一个乐观的心态。术后仅用5天，他就开始骑自行车训练，不到一个月的时间，他便奇迹般的重返了训练场。 S9 s2 W0 l* ~$ m$ l

6 d! ~, q2 Q( M- b9 v) t 对于病痛的折磨，他始终抱着一颗虔诚感恩的心，他表示：“幸亏医生及时发现了癌细胞，如果不是我经常路途劳动让身体感到如此疲惫的话，还真不一定能这么早发现癌细胞，我觉得自己真的非常幸运。”
