137,000 BTC 价值约 28 亿美元将很快投放市场，因为 2011 年 Mt. Gox 黑客事件导致资金流失，随后损失了 850,000 BTC，价值约 178 亿美元，以今天的价格计算。2014 年，Mt. Gox 报告说它发现了 200,000 比特币，但这些代币直到现在都被锁定在诉讼中。
2021 年 11 月，Mt. Gox 发布了一项正式的“恢复计划”，以将损失的资金返还给大约 7 年前无法使用其加密货币的投资者。然后，在 2022 年 7 月 6 日，Mt. Gox 和“康复受托人”Nobauaki Kobayashi向债权人发送了一封电子邮件，让他们可以选择接收美元、BTC 或 BCH。这一消息使我们比以往任何时候都更接近最终将资金释放给债权人。
Mt. Gox 硬币会影响比特币的价格吗？
正如加密货币分析师和 Crypto Banter 主持人 Miles Deutscher 指出的那样，许多投资者担心，由于抛售压力增加，137,000 BTC 的释放可能会导致比特币价格出现毁灭性下跌。
有些人甚至推测，比特币价格的下跌可能与以太坊合并一致，从而导致“翻转”得以实现。Flippening是一个假设事件，以太坊的市值超过比特币，如果比特币跌至 10,000 美元，以太坊从当前价格上涨 30%，就可能发生这种情况。
然而，这种担忧可能是没有根据的，因为许多债权人已经将他们的债权出售给了加密基金。Fortress Investment Group LLC 等集团向债权人提供了 600 美元至 1,300 美元现金的早期支付。引用 Fortress 董事总经理 Michael Hourigan 的话说；
“我们不是再等 1 到 1.5 年，而是为现在想要获得现金或 BTC 的债权人提供流动性选择。”
此外，尚未提前结算的债权人可能不愿意清算他们的比特币，因为他们立即代表早期的加密货币信徒。有理由认为，当比特币从历史最高点下跌 60% 以上时，许多收到比特币付款的人更有可能将其发送到冷藏而不是出售。
一些已释放的资金可能会进入诸如以太坊之类的山寨币中，而以太坊的历史上最重要的时刻即将到来。在 2014 年之前，几乎没有比特币的替代品，而在 2022 年，数以万计的加密货币项目可能会涌入投资。
如果比特币被清算怎么办？

LFG 卖出了价值数十亿美元的比特币，由于市场吸收了抛售压力，这对比特币的影响可以忽略不计。由于市场信念和整体全球前景的变化，事件发生后的几周确实导致比特币价格下跌。市场很可能会吸收 Mt. Gox 债权人的任何抛售，但早期比特币人放弃其代币的社会情绪可能会产生看跌的心理情绪。
