# A, R5 `5 _" S# L( n2 q+ I! }4 w 中新网1月28日电 据新加坡联合早报报道，微软创始人比尔•盖茨预测，当前的全球经济风暴对生活的冲击需要5到10年的时间才会消失；他一手创办的盖茨基金会的资产价值在风暴中也锐减了20%。
2 _; `( X. j4 _ 盖茨在盖茨夫妇基金会的第一份常年报告中说，希望两年后他再次发表年报时，经济危机已经过去，“但是，危机产生的影响还会持续下去；相信5到10年后这些问题就会消失。”
0 ?; y' K4 \) q2 x 盖茨认为，日新月异的科技和创新的科学是经济复苏的主要动力，革新的“推进速度对难题的解决将有实际的作用，对振兴世界经济大有裨益。”
; I" {5 E" _5 o- M2 h6 ? 关于基金会的慈善事业，盖茨表示，虽然资产价值跌了两成，基金会还是会继续增加经费，在全球发展医疗、教育等项目。

盖茨也将鼓励各国ZF在摆脱困境的同时也不要遗弃慈善工作。他在电话会议中说：“目前每年有100万名儿童死于疟疾，“我不认为人们会因为经济危机而放弃拯救疟疾病人的道德观。”
' _3 a, q3 P4 x 盖茨在去年放下微软的日常运作职务，专心处理在1994年创立的盖茨基金会。他在股神巴菲特的邀请下，同意每年发表关于基金会状况的年报。巴菲特在2006年答应把85%的财富捐给盖茨基金会。 |
